Eczema is skin condition in which the skin can become dry and inflamed with possible blisters that can cause bleeding. Eczema doesn’t need an external cause to start a flare-up, although avoiding certain irritants can help manage the skin condition.

There are several different types of eczema including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, dyshidrotic eczema, nummular eczema, seborrheic dermatitis and stasis dermatitis. Though there are several types of eczema, it is possible to have more than one type at a time.
